Best Behaviour

N-Dubz tonight at the arena. Not my thing but the kids seemed to be enjoying it! Surprisingly, no access to Professor Green.

Trapped In The Closet

R Kelly at Manchester Apollo last night. Bit of a strange one, all told. Don't think we got our three songs, awkward shooting position and not much light.

Wishing Well

Fun to shoot Paul Rodgers at the Apollo tonight. I'm not fan of the fire escape shooting position, but still got some workable shots.

The Roller

An encounter with Gallaher junior and his beer throwing fans last night. In fairness, can't complain at the shots.

A few shows from the end of last week I missed... no real comments to be made on these, all fairly straightforward pit shoots.

Pricetag

Jessie J last night at Manchester Academy - she's already got the air of a genuine pop star. We won't see her in small venues again.

I missed blogging about Rumer on Sunday - not a great position at the Bridgewater Hall, and not too much light, unfortunately.

Better The Devil You Know

There's still more than a little bit of me that doesn't believe I really got to photograph Kylie tonight in Manchester.

Shooting notes for this tour seem thin on the ground, so I'll go over the rules in case anyone's looking for the info - it's not a soundboard shoot, rather you're behind the fans in the "Splash Zone" which is the area directly in front of the stage. I shot on a 70-200 and a 400 and found that a good mix for this show.
