Shot Sade last night from the back of Manchester Arena



Really can't recommend shooting this one - two songs from the desk was pretty hard work.

On the plus side, the support act, The Jolly Boys, who we shot from the pit were a riot. They're a Jamaican mento band and went down a storm, not to mention played up for the cameras.

Another Brick In The Wall

Terrific to shoot Roger Waters tonight at Manchester Arena. His people made it run smoothly, and were genuinely helpful. We still all missed the plane going into the wall at the end of the first song, though!

Tom Sawyer

I'll be honest, I was quite excited to shoot Rush at Manchester Arena tonight. Unfortunately we didn't have free roam of the pit, because of camera tracks, so were confined to a spot about a third of the length of the pit, in front of Geddy Lee. What I heard sounded great. Another legend tomorrow night...

Gin & Juice

An unexpectedly long trip to Liverpool tonight to shoot Snoop Dogg. I'll be honest - if you're more than an hour late on stage, and arrive 45 minutes before curfew, it's just disrespectful to your paying fans. Not the press - we're there for work, but don't treat ticketholders like that.

Defying Gravity

Brian May & Kerry Ellis at Manchester Bridgewater Hall tonight. Somewhat unexpectedly, this was shot from the back of the room. The usual side shooting position would have been tremendous for this, as both were near the front of the stage and well lit.
